Welcome to the Society of Women Engineers online Scholarship system. The SWE Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to those who identify as a female/woman admitted to accredited baccalaureate or graduate programs in preparation for careers in engineering, engineering technology, and computer science. In 2022, SWE disbursed nearly 330 new and renewed scholarships valued at more than $1,700,000.  For more information, please visit our website at www.swe.org/scholarships.

Deadlines:

• Recommendations for sophomore through graduate student applicants are due by February 8, 2023
• Recommendations for all applicants using the India application are due by February 22, 2023
• Recommendations for freshmen applicants are due March 27, 2023

All deadlines are 5:00 p.m. US Central Time. Please make sure you submit your recommendation(s) by the deadline so that the applicant can be considered for SWE scholarships. Please do not contact us after the deadline as we cannot make any exceptions.

If you are having difficulty logging in or have questions, please contact SWE at scholarships@swe.org.

Instructions:

Any outstanding recommendations will display once you are logged in. Click on the status "Not Started" to the far right of a student's name at the very bottom of the page. If you have submitted your recommendation(s) or the deadline has passed, then those applicants will no longer display.

Note that students can only see the status of your recommendation (Waiting on Reference or Reference Completed). They cannot see the content of your recommendation.

The final step before submitting is to provide your "signature". Typing your name is sufficient.
